Hokey the Dog needs a home
Hi my name is Hokey! I am 2.5 years old and my fosters say that I am extra special because I have diabetes and an extra toe. I'm not sure what diabetes is but I take shots twice a day to keep me feeling good! Before my sugar was under control I was very forgetful and nervous. That's how I got the nickname Dory, because that fish on Nemo is forgetful too. Anyway, I'm still a little nervous of new things but I'm like a whole different dog! I love ALL my foster siblings but especially love my cat friends. I get along with kids and enjoy playing ball and running around the yard. I also really love cuddles with humans and other animals. I'm still learning to walk on a leash but I mind really well. I'm kennel trained and usually sleep in there before sneaking onto the human bed! I sit really well when it's time for my injections because I know that they help me feel better. I am ready to find my forever family that understand diabetes and my needs and loves me despite all that! Remember I absolutely love all dogs and kitties too. Please take me home!
